Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance, accounting and tax function in the entity/reporting unit.
- P&L & BS responsibility for the entity/reporting unit.
- Ensure full transparency of financial performance of the entity.
- Business support: in case of necessity communication with main customers and supplies, group/divisional controlling.
- Perform and manage the reporting processes – group and statutory reporting
- Manage budgeting & forecasting (planning) processes.
- Statutory accounting and tax reporting, including financial statements preparation and submission.
- Manage ERP system upgrades & modifications – as required by tax & legal changes.
- Be the first point of contact for auditors (internal and external).
- Close cooperation with the entity management.
- Manage the year-end closing process and audits.
- Support GEA local & central projects, including restructuring activities eg. M&A, dissolutions, if applicable.
- Managing area of tax compliance, including e.g. transfer pricing documentation, MDR reporting.
- Close collaboration with internal and external tax advisors.
- Cooperation with Shared Service Center (BPO).
- Team management, including employee development
