Downer’s Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services is a leading provider of integrated facilities services with clients across Australia and New Zealand.
The NZ Schools PPP is a partnership between Amber Infrastructure, the Ministry of Education, and Downer Company, focusing on enhancing educational environments across several schools in New Zealand. The project aims to deliver quality educational spaces efficiently, ensuring value for money and effective service delivery, with Downer handling various support services such as cleaning, security, and utilities management.
NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS
- Over 4 years of experience in operational facilities or asset management, with at least 2 years in client relationship management.
- Proven track record in coaching, training, and influencing teams within competitive and commercial environments.
- Skilled in change management, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Basic financial and P&L knowledge, with experience in writing and presenting business reports.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, share successes, and hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Full drivers license is required.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced motivated and committed FM Operations and Asset Manager to provide leadership to our people ensuring a highly motivated and productive operations team that is consistently delivering against contract requirements.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Manage commercial results and operational delivery for the NZPPP3 schools contract, ensuring KPIs are met and fostering team performance in productivity, safety, and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, while developing a sense of community and leadership within the contract team.
- Assemble a diverse, high-morale team, aligning their objectives with organizational targets and promoting collaboration and success.
- Drive operational excellence, optimize workforce productivity, and implement business improvements while prioritizing zero harm.
