Description The Expeditor is a vital part of our operation. This position is paramount in our members' experience by inspecting every dish for accuracy before it goes out to our members. The Expeditor builds every ticket and is responsible for the flow of food from BOH to FOH. In addition, the Expeditor will oversee the Food Runners, another integral part of the BOH and FOH service. Continually check areas of the event for necessary items, including ice, cleanliness, refreshing food on the buffet, etc. Help break down all equipment at the end of the function and return it to the appropriate location for storage. Always arrange equipment as the Supervisor directs and perform other reasonable job duties as requested. Receiving, sorting, unpacking, and putting away various clubhouse supplies and food orders. Straightening up and maintaining all clubhouse storage areas, which currently include supply closets and storage rooms, in clean and neat order. Confirm that the order is correct and plated to Chef's standards before leaving the kitchen. Complete opening and closing side work as assigned. Assist food runners in serving food to the members. When needed, assist food runners on the floor. Maintain cleanliness of the work area inside the kitchen. Set up the Expo station with all appropriate items needed for lunch and dinner (sauces, utensils, crackers, bowls) Work as a contributing player on the team with a positive attitude and a Genuine smile. Hourly Compensation: Based on experience Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform all job duties listed above, but not limiting or excluding any other tasks needed to service our members. Maintains regular attendance, is punctual, and observes prescribed work, breaks, and meal periods in compliance with Club policies and procedures. Maintains high standards of personal appearance, hygiene, and grooming, according to the dress code. Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor.
