JOB SUMMARY

The house manager is responsible for all overall functions of the homes within their cluster with up to 4 intellectually disabled clients. Willingness to work with potentially aggressive individuals. Also work at locations outside of their identified clusters to provide support as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in group home settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Background in social work, nursing, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in budgeting and resource management.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Compassionate attitude towards providing care for individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.

    Pay: $20.00 - $24.75 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
  • Supervise and train staff members to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
  • Monitor the well-being of residents, addressing any concerns related to their health or safety.
  • Facilitate communication between residents, families, guardians, social workers, school and work staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage daily operations including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure that the facility maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate activities and programs that promote social interaction and personal development for residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident progress and incidents as required by regulatory agencies.
