Description:

MANDATORY SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years experience with engine calibration
  • Master degree on Mechanical or Automotive engineering with demonstrable experience on mechatronics
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines and related sub-systems
  • In depth knowledge of modern control strategies and electronics
  • Knowledge on thermodynamics and fluid dynamics is preferred
  • Familiar with measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, flow and data analysis
  • Enthusiasm to deal with complex engine systems and development of solutions for complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and proactivity
  • Able to work in a complex project-oriented environment
  • Advanced English skills are mandatory, combined with the willingness to learn Dutch

  • Working experience with PUMA/Concerto
  • Working experience with ETAS/INCA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input for plans, align necessary processes, steps and tooling
  • Prepare test plans, execute development tests and perform complex analysis of Engine and Aftertreatment

systems and their controls.

  • Focus on Engine and Aftertreatment calibration activities to meet functional and performance related

requirements.

  • Document and evaluate test results
  • Coordinate test set-up and test execution
  • Develop new test procedures for engine and aftertreatment systems and their controls
  • Supervise procedures and processes within the organization to achieve department and project objectives
  • Actively contribute to improve test efficiency and test quality
  • Able to collaborate in project teams
