Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Furniture Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
The guaranteed working hours is 30 hours per week, and you will be working at our shop in Panmure, Auckland.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of Proven experience as a Store Manager, preferably in the furniture or retail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage inventory and financial aspects of the store.
- Knowledge of furniture products and trends is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Store Operations: Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring the store is well-presented at all times.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales by promoting products, providing product knowledge, and assisting customers with their purchases. Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Financial Management: Oversee cash handling, prepare daily financial reports, and manage the store’s budget to maximise profitability.
- Marketing & Merchandising: Implement in-store promotions, organise product displays, and ensure the store layout is visually appealing.
- Reporting: Generate sales reports and provide insights on store performance to senior management.
