OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and growing and expanding our highly successful coffee shop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with proven skills in restaurant management, team leadership, and customer service.
This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations while fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry or coffee industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Square or Clover, is preferred.
  • Background in food preparation and cooking is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development, including interviewing potential candidates.
  • Supervise daily activities of the team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage cash handling procedures effectively.
  • Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Utilize POS systems, such as Square and Clover, to manage transactions and track sales data.
  • Foster a culture of excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food handling and presentation.
  • Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance the guest experience.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
