REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in nightlife or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and employee timekeeping software.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • A passion for nightlife culture and creating memorable experiences.
  • Ability to work late hours and weekends.
  • Serving It Right certification.
  • First-Aid (OFA 1 equivalent) is an asset.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Situated at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas, the patio at The Longhorn Saloon is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink after biking or skiing. Champagne bottles are always popping and the music is always bumping.
We are seeking a General Manager to lead the Longhorn Saloon and oversee all aspects of daily operations, from staffing and inventory management to event planning and execution. You’ll also collaborate with the Executive team to develop strategies that enhance the guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain comprehensive sales and product knowledge.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Manage scheduling and oversee daily shift operations providing clear direction on daily programming and product knowledge.
  • Attend regular operations meetings focused on profit, revenue, and employee feedback.
  • Manage daily inventory to prepare for the next shift.
  • Drive key performance metrics, including the completion of Hook Ups.
  • Lead quarterly marketing and event initiatives.
