Position: 1-2

Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation:
  • Set up and operate folding and gluing machines according to production specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings, such as feed rate, glue application, and folding positions.
  • Ensure the correct material (paper, cardboard) is loaded into the machine for production.
  • Quality Control:
  • Monitor the production process to ensure the quality of the finished product meets specifications.
  • Perform regular quality checks for alignment, folding accuracy, glue application, and overall appearance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues such as misalignment, jams, or glue malfunctions.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform routine maintenance on folding and gluing equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments or repairs as needed to keep the machine running smoothly.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the machine is operated safely and all safety guards and emergency stops are functional.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate production logs, including quantities produced, materials used, and downtime.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other team members about production issues, maintenance needs, or improvements to processes.
  • Efficiency and Production Targets:
  • Work to meet or exceed daily production goals while minimizing waste and downtime.
  • Optimize machine performance for efficiency while maintaining product quality.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Work with production staff, supervisors, and other machine operators to coordinate workflow and ensure timely production.
  • Assist in training new operators or other team members as needed.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
