We are currently recruiting for a Group Marketing Director to come and join our Leicester Head Office Team.This is a high-impact role with diverse responsibilities. From developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies; managing brand positioning and messaging; overseeing digital marketing initiatives to deeply understand and analysing market trends and consumer behaviour.
The Marketing Director will play a crucial role in driving business growth aspirations and market presence with integrated customer experience as a core focus.
The role requires exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop and guide a team of marketing professionals while collaborating effectively with other departments such as sales, operations and corporate affairs.
While strategic insight, planning and decision-making are key components, the Marketing Director must also be hands-on in executing marketing initiatives and driving results.
The role will provide ample opportunity to shape the company’s customer marketing direction and involves the development and implementation of innovative integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives that are aligned to business objectives.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to support the company’s business goals and objectives
- Leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence
- Overseeing the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and integrated initiatives across digital, print, and other relevant platforms
- Managing the company’s brand strategy and product portfolio, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints
- Collaborating with sales teams to develop integrated strategies that drive lead generation and conversion
- Deeply understanding and analysing market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies
- Developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Overseeing the creation of marketing materials, including website content, sales collateral, and promotional items
- Implementing and analysing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and ROI
- Staying abreast of emerging marketing technologies and trends, and implementing those relevant to our business
- Building and maintaining relationships with key external partners, including agencies, vendors, and media outlets
- Presenting marketing proposals, strategies, plans, and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders
