COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure that the Uniform room is kept secure, and you take pride in your work area and overall Club environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness standards are met, and all Food Safety measures are adhered to
  • Ensure equipment and fixtures are maintained well and report any faults and damage.
  • Ensure team members adhere to H&S policy and any other Company policy and procedure.

The skills and experience which will help you succeed in this role

  • Prior managerial experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality/hotel environment is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of stock management, with the ability to take charge, identify and introduce solutions to resolve issues related to stock and inventory
  • Broad knowledge of garment fitting and standard garment repairs and alterations
  • Strong people manager who can motivate and inspire a team, and ‘muck-in’ where needed
  • Adaptable with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process/systems improvements.
  • An excellent communicator with an excellent level of English (spoken and written)
  • Highly organised and methodical. Good at managing deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
  • An eye for detail, with the ability to look ahead and pre-empt issues or challenges
  • You will possess a friendly, characterful demeanour and take genuine pleasure in supporting your colleagues
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Passion for championing diversity, equality, equity and inclusion
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Head Housekeeper plays a key role in the business by managing the Uniform Room operations and the team within this, along with overseeing impeccable cleanliness and standards across all front of house areas of the Club. The Uniform Team are often the first people our team members see as they start their shift and are the welcoming face who looks after their uniforms. You are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Uniform Room and making sure your colleagues are always looking in tip top shape and ready to provide exceptional service to our members. In addition, the Head Housekeeper will manage and organise the front of house cleaning team, working with the Back of House Manager to
ensure resources are covered efficiently and duties carried out daily. The role reports to the Front of House Manager and will help in making sure that all departments are equipped to maintain the highest level of cleanliness across all front of house areas.
