Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5 years’ experience in project development and management in the solar industry within the European market. Experience with storage is a plus.
 Experience in Setting up and managing teams
 Experience identifying off-takers and negotiating private and/or public PPAs
 Knowledge and experience modeling financial business cases
 Fluent German and English language skills are a must have. Any other language skills are an asset.
 Experience in negotiating project financing with banks and institutions will be a plus
 Proactive, straight forward, results-oriented, hard worker and passionate for new challenges
 Willingness to travel within Europe

Responsibilities:

Set up the project business and organization
 Actively seek out new opportunities / collaborations for projects and large commercial rooftops
 Identification and negotiation with developers to secure projects’ rights
 Manage project development from beginning to end. Plan and schedule project timelines and track achievement of project milestones and deliverables
 Maintain a ‘watching brief’ on market development, including gathering and reporting of intelligence on policy development
 Build and sustain productive relationships with potential project equity partners, developers, suppliers, off takers, financial institutions, project developers,
 Define strategy and actively engage/negotiate with all internal and external stakeholders (developers, lenders, advisors, EPCs etc.). Cooperate with internal functions (finance, legal, EPC etc.)
 Set up and manage supporting team of engineers and Project financing specialist
 Negotiate or support the negotiation of commercial transactions and assist with project financing if required
 Define project scope, budget, execution strategies, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders
 Assist with project financing if required
 Define risk mitigation strategies for individual projects and on a portfolio/country basis (regulatory, financing/financial, technical)
