Job Summary:

This position will require establishing collaborative working relationships with leaders, physicians, clinical staff, and support staff within the organization as well as with our established partnership agencies. The Healthcare Analyst will participate in system nursing projects, evidence-based research, new innovations and technology, program evaluation and audits, grant support maintenance, and grant compliance monitoring.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Health, or related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Experience: 2 years of clinical practice and experience in healthcare. Experience in research studies interpretation, application and data management. Experience working with Collaboration, Academia and Federal Grant reporting preferred.

Special Training: Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal
skills and oral and written communication. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,
and Outlook.






System Projects: Participates in project research, design, development, and implementation of nursing system projects using evidence-based research. Documents project charters, progress, timelines, orientation and education plans, implementation plans, resource acquisition plan, toolkits, and change adoption plan for each project.

Project Development: Collaborates with leaders and staff from multiple departments or outside agencies to develop project specifics to accomplish goals. May include facilitating student entry, team member placements, orientation, and clinical instruction.

Program Evaluation: Participates in the evaluation of nursing projects and programs post implementation by identifying successes and barriers. Develops survey tools to evaluate learning, adoption, and the environment. Reviews data, identifies trends, and analyzes aggregate data. Prepares organized, accurate documentation that clearly supports conclusions and objectives. Evaluation includes evaluation of established partnerships. May work with statisticians to evaluate outcomes of program.

Monitoring: Performs audits and investigations, in accordance with federal, state, and Palmetto Health policies, guidelines, and regulations. Uses standard audit techniques but may develop or modify audit tools as needed. Develops recommendations for changes and improvements in such policies and procedures and then assists with development of specific action plans. Provides feedback to multiple departments and outside agencies.

Compliance Monitoring: Verifies the integrity of study data, regulatory items, and IRB files with respect to accuracy, appropriate documentation, and completeness through review of electronic data and case report forms, source documents, medical records, regulatory documents, and other study files. May include completion of informed consent process.

Reports: Prepares accurate documents for reports. On a regular basis, creates reports which summarize trends. Processes information by compiling, categorizing, tabulating, and verifying data. Accurately enters data and produces reports for clinical, evidence-based research, new innovations, and grant purposes.

Grant and New Innovations Support: Participates in the research and writing of grant proposals. Projects may require hiring, onboarding, and education of study participants. Develops, tracks, and maintains evidence of data in a written manner as a co-writer for publishing, presentation, and knowledge sharing across the organization and nationally.
