JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Billing Executive (Female) to join our dynamic team at a leading hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and insurance requirements. The Billing Executive will also liaise with patients, insurance companies, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Education:
• A diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital billing, insurance claims, or a related healthcare finance role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing procedures.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and hospital billing software/systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Patient Billing Management:
• Process patient billing for medical services rendered, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the data entered.
• Verify patient insurance details and confirm coverage prior to billing.
• Generate invoices and ensure timely submission to patients or insurance providers.
• Insurance Verification and Coordination:
• Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain pre-authorization for services as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and submission of claims to insurance providers, following up on approvals and rejections.
• Track and manage outstanding insurance claims, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Billing Documentation & Records:
• Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions, insurance claims, and patient communications.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports as required.
• Patient Queries and Customer Service:
• Address and resolve patient billing inquiries, providing clear and accurate explanations regarding charges, insurance, and payment options.
• Assist patients with billing-related issues and offer solutions in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Payment Processing:
• Ensure all patient payments are recorded accurately and follow up on overdue payments.
• Work with the finance team to reconcile payments, insurance remittances, and any discrepancies.
• Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure billing data is accurate and comprehensive.
• Liaise with the Accounts team for payment processing and discrepancies resolution.
