Description:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Develop work schedules to ensure adequate coverage based on occupancy levels.
- Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to standards and procedures.
- Implement and maintain high cleanliness and service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
- Manage and control housekeeping supplies and inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate stock of cleaning materials and amenities.
- Assist in the development and management of the housekeeping budget.
- Monitor expenses and work to achieve cost-effective housekeeping operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Ensure housekeeping staff follows safety protocols and uses appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work closely with the front office, maintenance, and other relevant departments to coordinate daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational matters.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar field.
- Candidates must possess at least Diploma or Professional Certificate in Hospitality or its equivalent.
- Possess working experience in supervisory roles especially in housekeeping and preferably from the hotel industry.
- Candidates must have strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Good in Microsoft Office and able to arrange shifts for the staff
- Able to work on Public Holiday & weekends.
- 6 days work in a week.
