Description:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Develop work schedules to ensure adequate coverage based on occupancy levels.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to standards and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain high cleanliness and service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
  • Manage and control housekeeping supplies and inventory.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate stock of cleaning materials and amenities.
  • Assist in the development and management of the housekeeping budget.
  • Monitor expenses and work to achieve cost-effective housekeeping operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure housekeeping staff follows safety protocols and uses appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Work closely with the front office, maintenance, and other relevant departments to coordinate daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational matters.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar field.
  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma or Professional Certificate in Hospitality or its equivalent.
  • Possess working experience in supervisory roles especially in housekeeping and preferably from the hotel industry.
  • Candidates must have strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Good in Microsoft Office and able to arrange shifts for the staff
  • Able to work on Public Holiday & weekends.
  • 6 days work in a week.
