JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing HR functions, including payroll management, benefits administration, and data entry. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices, accounting principles, and proficiency in various HR and financial software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft is preferred.
  • Experience with payroll management software like ADP or Paychex is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and software such as QuickBooks or Ceridian is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience in human resources or accounting within a non-profit environment is a plus. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is eager to contribute to our organization’s success through effective human resource management.

Responsibilities
  • Administer payroll processes using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or Kronos to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with general ledger accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating interviews and onboarding new employees.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations and HR policies.
  • Provide analysis of HR metrics to improve processes and support strategic decision-making.
