Description:

We are in search of a proficient HR Director to join our team based in Augusta, Georgia. The HR Director will play a crucial role in managing employee relations, employee benefits, and development programs. This position is within the corporate industry and forms a vital part of our workplace environment.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with HRMS and Workday
  • Strong understanding of Benefit Functions
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Knowledge of Compliance regulations and best practices
  • Strong Employee Relations skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role such as HR Director
  • Excellent knowledge of HRMS and Workday systems
  • Strong understanding of benefit functions within a corporate environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance regulations and procedures
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations
  • Able to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus
  • HR certifications (e.g. CIPD, SHRM) may be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align the organization’s goals and strategies concerning staffing, recruitment, and retention
  • Oversee the administration of human resource programs, including but not limited to benefits, performance and talent management, staffing, recruiting, and training and development
  • Supervise activities related to the administration and maintenance of employee benefits programs
  • Stay updated with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, and apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing changes to increase productivity and service efficiency
  • Uphold company policies and procedures as required
  • Take on additional duties as necessary.
