Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The HR Manager will be the driving force behind comprehensive people programs, initiatives, and solutions aimed at elevating both individual and organizational performance. This involves delivering proactive, innovative, and employee-centric solutions that seamlessly align with the broader business goals. These solutions may encompass talent acquisition, workforce optimization, organizational structure, talent cultivation, performance enhancement, conflict resolution, benefits administration, and fostering a culture that reflects the company’s core values..
- Oversee the entire employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, discipline, development, coaching, mentoring, and separations.
- Cultivate an employee-first culture that champions quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation, including relevant government reporting.
- Offer insightful analysis and recommendations for organizational change, contribute to setting direction, and allocate appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with leadership and provide coaching through talent management, development, and succession planning processes.
- Work collaboratively to establish a competitive wage rate structure for the manufacturing team.
- Develop training policies, programs, and schedules based on identified training needs, production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
- Manage development and succession planning for this location.
- Directly supervise the Human Resources staff in alignment with the organization’s overall strategies and tactics.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in empowering the workforce, including 4+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in supporting an hourly workforce.
- Experience with large HRIS systems. Familiarity with Success Factors is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel) is required.
- Proven maturity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly organized and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable employment, EEO, compensation, civil rights, safety, and OSHA regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) with a focus in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM certification is preferred.
