Description:

We are seeking a competent HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. As an HR & Payroll Specialist, you will be handling a variety of tasks related to payroll processing and HR administration. This role is crucial to ensuring efficient operations within our team and providing excellent service to our staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the processing of multi-state payroll operations effectively.
  • Implement and maintain HRIS Payroll systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Administer benefits payroll accurately, ensuring all benefits are correctly applied and distributed.
  • Conduct comprehensive benefits administration tasks, including but not limited to, enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Regularly monitor and update employee records and information within the HRIS system.
  • Resolve any payroll or benefits-related queries from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll and HR processes.
  • Continuously review and recommend improvements to current payroll and HR procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to payroll and benefits administration.
  • Provide relevant payroll and HR reports to management as needed.
  • 3+ years experience in multi - state payroll
  • Experience with Benefits administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
