Description:

We are looking for a proactive HR Specialist with a great sense of humor to join our HR Services Team. One of our team members is starting a study leave, so we are seeking a talented individual to work as a deputy for Senior Payroll and HR Systems Specialist on a full-time fixed-term employment, starting around September 2024 and continuing until the end of May 2026. As part of our team, you will work alongside three experienced HR professionals responsible for HR systems as the main user, reporting, managing payroll processes and the entire life cycle of the employment relationship, as well as providing employment counseling for supervisors and employees.
We hope to find a team member who is enthusiastic about continuous improvement, collaborative teamwork, and willingness to try new things and learn. Our office is located in Martinlaakso, Vantaa, and our HR Services team works flexibly both in the office and remotely. With one day per week dedicated to team collaboration in the office, you will have the opportunity to engage with your colleagues and contribute to our shared success. Onboarding requires working closely at the office during the first few months, but after that, you can also work partly remotely in Finland.
In our team, you will have the chance to work independently while also collaborating with our 8-person HR organization and both internal and external partners. In this role, your focus will be on payroll-related tasks such as ticket handling within Payroll and HR services. While previous experience with Sympa, Jotbar, Service Now (Pannu -ticket handling), Personec W is beneficial; expertise in other HR systems is also valued. Your daily tasks will involve utilizing electronic ticket systems for seamless operations while providing exceptional customer service at our office location. Our payroll processing is outsourced so payroll tasks are not part of your responsibilities, but you act as a contact person for the external payroll company. We are seeking a new team member to execute routine operational HR tasks ensuring smooth operation of established HR processes.
We expect you to have
- At least 5 years of experience in operative HR, payroll and HR admin user experience from working time management systems and HRIS systems. - Knowledge of employee collective agreements such as the technology industry’s collective agreement or some other. - Good IT (MS office), communication, and customer service skills. - Fluent English and Finnish skills, both spoken and written. - Excellent teamwork skills.
