We are looking to expand our highway maintenance operating footprint and are preparing responses to several RFP tenders announced by the Provincial Government of Alberta for five (5) highway maintenance Contract Management Areas (CMAs) in the Northeast and North Central regions of the province.
As such, LaPrairie Works is calling for applications to fill the role of HSE and Quality Control Monitor, Highway Maintenance with potential bases in Fort McMurray, Athabasca, Lac La Biche, Cold Lake, Vegreville, Wainwright, Vermilion, Lloydminster or Camrose, AB.

Reporting to the Quality Program Lead, with indirect reporting lines to the Health and Safety Lead and LWI Environmental Lead, the HSE and Quality Control Monitor is physically present at the site of operations and ensures that quality standards are in compliance with Contract Performance Measures, monitors and ensures that all operations comply with the requirements of the Company Safety programs and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Company’s environmental programs and the client’s Environmental Operations Plan Framework and Management System.
Required Skills:
Compile data and maintain records according to the Contract data collection and reporting requirements.
Required Skills:
Suitable experience and/or equivalent knowledge in Quality Management within the Highway Maintenance, Public Works, and/or Civil Construction industry sectors.
