Summary:
AGAT Laboratories is hiring Imaging Technicians for a Seasonal contract positions in our Core Sample Preparation Group. This is an entry level position where successful candidates will be involved in the capturing and warehousing of core samples. Intermediate computer skills will be required for this role to report results using Excel software. All training will be provided for this position.

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma or Degree preferred.
  • High stamina and dexterity while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience working in warehouse/logistics roles is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift 20-35lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Mature work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry is considered an asset.
  • Reliable transportation to NE Calgary.

Working Conditions:

  • Repetitive tasks and frequent heavy-lifting
  • Standing for extended period of time
  • Work environment can be quite warm and protective/safety equipment must be worn.
