EMBEDDED SOFTWARE INTERNSHIP

LINAK is looking for students with the right drive for embedded software development internships! We are looking for you, who has a can-do attitude and you who would like to become part of a dynamic and engaged team. You will be involved in all kinds of problems and be included in both large and small projects.
Your tasks may involve taking part in defining the architecture of new modules, developing, writing, testing, and documenting software for new products, adding new features in existing products and estimating HW compared to software options.
LINAK uses its own coding standard for C and C++, therefore you can be involved in demands/design/code review, or make static analyses, version controls with SVN (Subversions) or unit testers with GoogleTest and FFF.
Product acceptance is primarily done through Robot Framework auto tests or manual tests.

Examples of previous projects - Projects vary depending on your knowledge and interests:

• Designing, building and deployment of special DESK test setup (10 columns) for qualification/error detection on IDS – Internal Desk Sensor and DeskFrame2. Including analysing and report as well as repair of embedded SW errors/features.
• Be on equal terms with SW-developers in regard to design, implementation, and integration of the embedded software handling the reference control of 1-many actuators implemented in the chair control box (BLE2DC) and actuator (LA10).
• Prepare guidelines for internal use: how to upload SW for DeskFrame2 and the LA10 system.
• Build/extend test equipment for automation of product test through Robot Framework and the like that shortens the test time severely.
