POSITION TITLE: INTERMEDIATE I SCIENTIST / ENGINEER / SYSTEM ANALYST

POSITION OVERVIEW

Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate I Scientist / Engineer / System Analyst to provide in-service improvements and modifications of various National Airspace System (NAS) systems, including CARSR, ARSR-4, ARSR-4 with IFF Mode 4 and 5, NDAG radios, Spectrum Efficient National Surveillance Radar (SENSR), and other evolving systems. This role requires expertise in system design, testing, and modification to meet the needs of the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Defense (DoD), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other federal agencies. The Senior II Scientist/Engineer/Systems Analyst will support the tactical homeland defense initiatives by overseeing equipment and facility modifications, preparing technical reports, and performing hands-on testing to ensure system performance, reliability, and safety.
This position is full-time and on-site at FAA office in Oklahoma City, OK.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math or science from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering, modifications, and design support for NAS or similar systems.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Possession of a valid REAL ID or U.S. Passport.
  • Proficiency in engineering design tools and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with system testing, prototype development, and modification validation.
  • Experience working with COTS materials, hardware, and software integration.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree desired.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
  • Prior experience supporting the FAA or other U.S. Government clients.
Responsibilities

The Intermediate I Scientist/Engineer/Systems Analyst will perform a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering, modifications, and design support for NAS or similar systems.
  • In-depth understanding of NAS systems such as ARSR-4, CARSR, NDAG, and SENSR.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing engineering studies, preparing technical documentation, and providing field support for large-scale systems.
  • Experience with DoD, DHS, and federal agencies’ requirements, specifically in homeland defense initiatives and surveillance systems.
