Key Requirements Intermediate Site Engineer CL04 Minimum 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering and site supervision. Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and practices. Experience in structural consultancy as a structural engineer is advantageous. Ability to coordinate with design teams and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Senior Site Engineer CL06 Minimum 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering and site supervision. Proven track record of managing complex site projects and leading engineering teams. Strong background in structural consultancy prior to site engineering roles is highly desirable. Expertise in interpreting structural drawings, specifications, and ensuring quality control. Responsibilities Carefully supervise all site construction work for civil and structure to make sure it follows design plans and safety rules. Work closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to quickly solve technical problems. Inspect the site regularly and give clear technical advice to junior engineers and site workers. Make sure project deadlines are met on time without lowering quality or safety standards. Represent the company on site, keeping good communication and coordination with everyone involved. Work together with other disciplines to avoid conflicts during construction and coordinate with other consultants on site. Act as the company representative on site, maintaining effective communication and coordination. Facilitate interdiscipline collaboration to prevent clashes during construction and coordinate with other discipline consultants on site. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent. Adequate knowledge for structure (had an experience working as structural engineer in a consultant firm like Beca or others) Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Application Process Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV along with a cover letter highlighting relevant experience in both structural consultancy and site engineering roles. ▪ Apply a deep understanding of technical principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems ▪ Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and multiple jobs ▪ Assume responsibility for complex and challenging projects assigning work, directing project outcomes and verifying work of other technical staff ▪ Work on projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets ▪ Present information professionally to ensure effective communication of design intent ▪ Work to achieve team goals through personal effort with regular attendance and effective contribution to team / project meetings ▪ Build strong client relationships based around understanding of clients’ needs and provision of appropriate technical solutions leading to continuing work and repeat business ▪ Understand the client’s business and strategic issues in order to ensure successful outcomes and maximise repeat business revenue ▪ Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding ▪ Understand risk on all jobs through implementation of sound audit, business and financial management and understand impact of work practices on the financial outcome of projects ▪ Network in the industry and actively participate with industry and professional bodies ▪ Communicate positively and effectively ensuring that team members , Managers and clients are consistently well informed about progress and timelines ▪ Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills ▪ Mentor and coach junior peers across the discipline and delegate appropriately ▪ Seek specific and constructive feedback to ensure professional and technical development ▪ Tertiary qualification ▪ Expertise in application of principles and practices within discipline ▪ Experience in a consulting environment ▪ Professional body certification / registration ▪ Understand and adhere to the Beca values ▪ Act in accordance with industry / professional ethics maintaining professionalism at all times ▪ Contribution and effort is aligned to organisational objectives ▪ Comply with all company HSE systems and procedures relevant to the role, in accordance with local documented HSE responsibilities and accountabilities.
