Cytek Biosciences is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join the Finance team. This internship provides practical, hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and foundational General Ledger (GL) accounting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and interested in pursuing a career in accounting. This role offers exposure to monthly close processes, internal financial controls, and cross‑functional collaboration in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To succeed in this role, the intern will be expected to: * Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. * Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox to ensure all invoices are processed with proper documentation and approval workflows. * Support the Expensify expense management system and assist with data cleanup. * Collaborate with the purchasing department and other teams to resolve invoice issues and variances. * Manage and escalate vendor inquiries and payment requests as needed. * Maintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation. * Learn to prepare month‑end accrual entries and assist with basic account reconciliation tasks. * Participate in ad hoc accounting projects. * Provide support on accounting‑related audit activities. Requirements & Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate: * Minimum age of 18 years and commitment to a full internship term. * Good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA. * Legal authorization to work in the United States. * Currently enrolled full‑time in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited U.S. university OR graduating in Spring 2026 with a major in accounting or a related field. * Ability to complete an 8–10 weeks internship between June and August. * Ability to work on site for the duration of the internship. * Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. * Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn. * A team‑oriented mindset, collaborative work style, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
