POST SUMMARY:

Trinity College Dublin is seeking to appoint an International Partnerships Officer – Agreements.

The primary focus of the role will be the management of agreements that are co-ordinated by Trinity Global on behalf of the institution. Specifically, the role will be responsible for the

  • Recording agreements whose development has been facilitated by Trinity Global and agreements that require final oversight by the Vice President for Global Engagement as legal signatory;
  • Tracking these agreeements as review and/or renewal arise;
  • Ensuring the development of appropriate sub-ordinate documents in support of institutional agreements;
  • Ensuring monitoring and evaluation (M & E) plans are in place and submitted internally and/or externally as required

The role will involve working with partner universities and Schools within Trinity to assist in the drafting of agreements and preparing them for sign off. In addition, it will require working with external agencies such as those responsible for Erasmus grants when there are grant signatory requirements. Activities associated with these grants sit across both the Partnerships and Global Mobility teams as well as in academic departments/disciplines and Schools.
This role will work with a variety of agreements including but not limited to memoranda of understanding, student exchange and study abroad agreements, staff exchange agreements, joint programme agreements, cooperation project agreements, etc.
The role will primarily report to the Associate Director Partnerships and Global Mobility. You will provide administrative support to the Partnerships and Global Mobility Team within Trinity Global, assisting in the delivery of the GRS3 Plan.
The successful candidate will take up post in November 2024.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract .This appointment is a specific purpose contract. This role is not being offered on a permanent basis as the development of a new institutional strategic plan and a new business plan to support its implementation in Trinity Global will necessitate a review of operations. The nature of this employment contract is specified purpose as the function of this role as outlined will be subject to this review and may not continue in its current form. The long-term capacity of the post will be contingent upon the outcome of the review.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€44,910 - € 56,383 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
