We’re looking for an International Relations Manager – Corporate to join our corporate team based in London.
As an International Relations Manager - Corporate you’ll…
- Liaise with consultants and clinical staff regarding medical opinions, appointments, treatment plans, updates for patients.
- Liaise with the Department of Health providing regular updates on patients, and responding to queries within the agreed timeframes
- Creating a spreadsheet with all patient information across sites which includes weekly patient updates and all upcoming appointments
- Ensure all appointments for patients are inputted in the shared calendar
- Get updates following each outpatient appointment, chase reports and ensure all referrals/investigations are arranged in a timely manner
- Attend MDTs and case conferences for each patient and ensure an update is provided to the sponsor following this
- Work in an integrated way with the international teams at each site
- Ensure letters of guarantees are in place before each appointment and have been shared with the relevant members of staff and scanned on Meditech
- Ensure the patient has been informed of each appointment and has an interpreter booked before each appointment
- Deal with complaints appropriately by escalating to the relevant clinical and non-clinical staff
- Provide sensitive and caring liaison point for the patient to discuss needs or concerns
- Weekly calls to all patients to check in and ensure any issues are proactively dealt with
- Effective communication with colleagues to ensure patient satisfaction
- Minimum of bi-weekly ward rounds to all inpatients
- Organise tours for overseas visitors when needed
- Taking the lead on client facing comms, being an escalation point for any challenges.
