Description:
We are looking for a motivated and independent young scientist or engineer to join our team in the current effort in broadening our knowledge of our optical spectroscopy technique. The goal of this internship project is to develop a deeper understanding of the Raman spectra recorded with our unique machines. Specifically, you will perform measurements on various samples and support the team in analyzing the collected data. The project provides great learning possibilities as it involves close collaboration with our data science team and the applications team.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Currently in BSc or in MSc in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python)
- Independent working and ability to communicate effectively with other team members
- Hands-on attitude and willing to learn new skills

- Sample fabrication, done by liquid spin-coating and metal coating depositions
- Measurements of optical spectra of different materials and under different experimental conditions
- Processing and analysis of the collected spectra
