As of February 2024 our Legal Department at the Head Office NL in Almere (close to Amsterdam) is looking for a passionate Privacy Intern. You’ll run through our “Best internship in Retail” and learn on the job while support the team with following:

• Maintaining and improving the privacy framework at an international retail organisation ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulation such as the European data protection regulation
• Understanding how to monitor, analyse and follow-up on privacy requests from various departments of the organization customers or others
• Getting involved in the privacy and security awareness program and trainings
• Keeping privacy policies up-to-date, developing internal data protection guidelines and material
• Analysing the link between privacy & security and what it means at a large, dynamic retail organisation
• Learning how to deal with conflicting interests and priorities
• Handling the outcome of the compliance checks and follow-up on the findings together with the business
• Supporting with data subject requests such as data deletion or access requests

To ensure that we can deliver and take good care of the information we have from our customers and employees, security and privacy are important topics for the whole business.
