The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for the accurate buying and replenishment of all products to support catalog and online sales. The goal for the Inventory Control Analyst is to support these sales with the right product at the right time and to perform all relevant supply chain activities to achieve that goal. The key focus and measure of success of the position includes minimal stock excess and outages, and obsolete inventory optimization and turns.


  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 2 years of replenishment experience with a National retailer or fast-paced consumer goods industry preferred, but will give consideration to recent grad with applicable education and office skills
  • Direct Tech/SPI F21 knowledge a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused working environment
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timeline and pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Willingness to learn, improve and adapt
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to follow detailed directions or processes and execute accordingly.
  • Must be organized, quick to react, multitask and follow procedures.

  • Utilize advanced replenishment processes as well as the traditional MRP and Min/Max replenishment processes to determine quantity needs and place appropriate orders for procurement of products.
  • Use MRP system to systematically set up and manage the replenishment processes.
  • Reduce supplier lead-times through development of creative solutions.
  • Manage and communicate forecast information to both Domestic and International suppliers.
  • Work with suppliers to increase inventory flexibility, reduce cost and investment through the supply chain for both domestic and international.
  • Partner with Marketing to manage purchasing fluctuations due to seasonality and promotions.
  • Develop working partnership with Brand Manager and Merchants to reinforce appropriate inventory levels.
  • Utilize software tools to identify on-time delivery and inventory performance gaps and initiate continuous improvement processes to close the gaps.
