Description The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of parts, equipment, and supplies to support company operations. This role ensures inventory is tracked, recorded, and distributed efficiently while supporting purchasing and operations teams. The Inventory Specialist plays a critical part in maintaining smooth workflow across service, manufacturing, and distribution functions. Requirements Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory management Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, word, outlook) Conduct regular inventory counts (Cycle counting) Tracking of incoming and outgoing products Maintain accurate records of both receiving and shipping documents Use of kanban and erp reordering methods Investigate overages and shortages Track stocking levels to maintain accurate order levels Implement standard operating procedures for improved inventory efficiency Maintain and organize stock efficiently Ability to review data, trends, and solve discrepancies Ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitive lifting of 50+ pounds Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to count and do addition, subtraction, and convert to decimal or fraction on a consistent basis Prior warehouse and inventory management is preferred
