OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and manage various technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including SAFe and Waterfall, and have experience in software development life cycles (SDLC). This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to ensure successful project delivery while meeting stakeholder expectations.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in SAFe, Waterfall, Kanban methodologies for effective project management.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Project, TFS, Jira, and other project management tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle databases, cloud computing (AWS), and software development practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and other project management software.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Oversee release management processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress and address concerns.
  • Utilise Jira for tracking project tasks and managing workflows effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with disaster recovery protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
