Description
Manages or assists with managing large, moderately complex projects or multiple small projects from idea through execution. Supervises all project parameters; documents user stories and functional requirements. This position will assist in requirements gathering and user story creation to ensure documentation is completed for assigned projects. They will aid in the design while making sure the scope of the project is maintained. The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. •Manages or assists with managing large, moderately complex projects or multiple small projects. • Follows established project managements policies, standards, and methodologies • Tracks and reports on action items assigned to project team members • Seeks assistance from and follows direction of more senior project managers in addressing unexpected challenges • Escalates issues which may impact project timeline to avoid delays • Updates documentation to reflect changes made during the project timeline • Ensures that documentation is available to team members and others throughout the project timeline •Supervises project schedules, timelines, processes, workflow, and other parameters as needed to ensure effective project delivery. • Develops and maintains accurate project plans using established software and methods • Conducts project meetings with team to record progress on action items and deliverables, track task assignments, and document changes in project status • Discusses escalations with more senior pro ject managers and escalates issues to project sponsor in a timely manner • Ensure projects are within budget, ontime, and in scope. • Works collaboratively with others in the project management team and effectively communicates progress, challenges, and issues that may affect larger project outcome A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years experience (or an equivalent combination) is required for this position. Experience with various Project Management methodologies. PMP certification is also desirable. . Excellent project management, communication, and customer service skills are required. Experience with project management software.
