Description Responsible and accountable for maintaining the successful operations of all credit union networks, communications, systems, and applications. Oversee, plan, and manage information technology to enhance the ability of credit union staff to serve our members. Proactively analyze systems reliability and functionality making design and enhancements to improve both. Hands-on experience with the ability to navigate, identify, and resolve issues with workstations, servers, communications, network hardware and software, including working with and managing various technology partners, is expected. Assure computer technology systems are working so credit union staff can effectively service our members Maintain daily operation of network and systems Monitor, analyze, report, and make recommendations regarding network systems Diagnose and resolve system and connectivity problems Travel to branches, offices, business centers, or other related work and/or training locations as necessary Remain abreast of industry trends and how those trends relate to the credit union industry and member service Understand business functions well enough to converse in business terms with credit union staff and make recommendations to leverage technology to streamline or enhance operational business functions Represents the credit union in a professional manner in interaction with technology partners and members Participate in annual training as required by the BSA/OFAC Compliance Officer Perform other duties as assigned #zr Requirements Knowledge & Experience: Experience in PC usage and hardware/software support Must be experienced in Microsoft Office suite Two years hands-on technology support of a clearly defined operational business function Well organized with ability to manage planned workload with on-going interruptions and redirection Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education / Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required A two-year college degree, completion of specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program preferred Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling are regular requirements of this role Other Requirements: Must be able to travel independently
