Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic to join our friendly, well respected and long-established company.
You will be joining a dynamic team where you can establish long-lasting working relationships with your immediate peers and the wider company.

THE KEY FUNCTIONS OF THIS ROLE ARE:

  • Provide first level IT support on-site covering all areas of technical support for software and hardware
  • Establish, test and monitor new software, services and systems
  • Undertake root cause analysis of problems and document solutions
  • Troubleshoot remote access tools (VPN) and general network (LAN/WAN) connectivity issues by phone
  • Deploy workstations, laptops, printers and software
  • Troubleshoot software and printing issues
  • Manage helpdesk functions ensuring tasks are kept up to date
  • Manage user accounts creation, modification and deletion
  • Manage and maintain repairs for all IT equipment

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; or demonstrated comparable experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7,10 & Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience in an IT support role
  • Experience with Active Directory user and group creation/modification
  • Experience using an incident ticket system
  • Committed to providing customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Highly organised with a focus on attention to detail
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skill
