The Junior Analytics Developer supports the implementation of web tracking strategies for client websites, while supporting their team with ad hoc bug fixes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 0-3 years of JavaScript experience with knowledge of concepts such as, asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES5/ES6
  • Post-secondary education with a focus in IT Web Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, DoubleClick for Publishers, Adobe Analytics is an asset
  • Knowledge of code versioning (Git) and CI/CD process
  • Up-to-date on current web trends and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment

Responsibilities:

  • Set up complete analytics tracking (Page Data, eCommerce, UX) with Google Analytics
  • Work with DOM elements, dataLayer events and A/B testing platforms to monitor and track events
  • Communicate issues/ticket updates to Analytics team and other internal stakeholders
  • Integrate third-party APIs and libraries
  • Stay on top of maintenance and bug fixes for existing interactions in the browser, session, and DOM across various platforms (marketing, ecommerce, etc.)
