Description:

WHAT IS BPA/UMPA?

It’s a meaningful position working closely with a disabled individual who has the need for physical assistance to accomplish responsibilities and goals in and outside of the home. Similar to how a wheelchair helps one go, a BPA helps a disabled person live a good, productive life.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for trustworthy and dependable individuals who enjoy teamwork, but can also take self initiative to work on achieving the daily goals individually. If you foresee enjoying working in a cozy family-oriented setting, with a variety of tasks, flexible scheduling, with the potential of personal time off mimicking the Norwegian “Skole route” breaks— combined with the ability to maintain a stable source of income— please read more!
English is the preferred language in the workplace. Ideally having at minimum one BPA who is proficient in both English and Norwegian language would be a great resource for translation purposes.
In addition to 1-2 main BPA’s, we are looking for on-call substitute(s) who can step in when needed, for example during employee holiday, unavailability or in case of illness. A great opportunity for students and those who wish to have a secondary source of income.
