Alexander Gow Fire Equipment Company has been the leading fire protection company in the Pacific Northwest since 1923. We are looking for a Kitchen & Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician to join our team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, good attitude, and a desire to learn new skills.
Experience is not required. Our team will provide on-the-job training and proper Personal Protective Equipment to safely perform and learn the duties of the position.
This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to work Monday through Friday during the night shift. Shift hours vary, but jobs are generally conducted between the hours of 9 PM – 6 AM.
Hourly range: $22-26/hour Depending on Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check;
• Ability to work in a team and follow direction from lead technicians;
• Consistent communication with team members and management;

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires physical exertion to complete the essential job functions:

• Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge;
• Regular lifting of 50+ pounds;
• Regular climbing of ladders and stairs;
• Working indoors and outdoors, involves roof work as well;
• Regular presence in confined spaces;
• Regular sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, lifting, climbing and walking;
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
