Pay rate – $28.48 - $38.25 per hour depending on experience.

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician, reporting to the Technical Manager, the role will focus on supporting the R&D Chemists in existing product formulation and the development of new products.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Degree in relevant field desirable.
Prior experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities:

The creation and filling of samples for client approval.
Assessment of materials required for product development.
Set up, operate, and clean laboratory equipment.
Assisting in ensuring the maintenance, calibration and appropriate stock levels of materials and equipment.
Routine testing of stability samples.
Preparing pre- production samples.
Assisting QC where required.
Preparation of reports to define and evaluate problems and suggest possible solutions.
