Description:
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Quality and Laboratory Manager, you will assist in the daily operations of the Laboratory function at our Hamilton Yeast site. Working collaboratively with Operations, Sales, Customer Services, R&D and other relevant personnel on site, this role will ensure Right First-Time production under Quality & Food Safety conforming systems that meet the customer’s requirements.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Collect samples for quality control testing and shelf-life retention.
- Maintain an accurate testing database.
- Interpret test results and propose process improvements.
- Clean and organise lab equipment and glassware.
- Label and manage samples.
- Prepare and submit samples for external testing and interpret results.
- Ensure precise data entry and completion of Certificates of Analysis (COA).
- Manage the retention sample testing schedule.
- Communicate testing outcomes to relevant stakeholder promptly.
