Monadelphous require an experienced Lead Project Engineer for a Prominent Lithium project in the South West of WA. This multi-disciplinary project involving Dry/Wet plant, piping & fabrication works and electrical supply, valued at over $516M, offers a long-term opportunity as you play an essential role contributing to the project’s success. From the initial project startup to on-site construction you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery.
The Scope of Works: SMP & E&I contract due for completion 2025/26. The expansion will include building a new lithium concentrate plant, capable of producing 520,000 tonnes per annum of chemical-grade lithium concentrate and a new crushing plant.
As a pivotal team member, your role as Lead Project Engineer will be site-based undertaking a 2:1 DIDO roster (Perth) during the construction phase. You will provide engineering services and project management support as well as providing advice, coaching and mentoring less experienced engineering staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality
  • Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract
  • Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required
  • Lead the procurement and work pack development for the project
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team
  • Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are metProvide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project
