Thinkerbell is looking for an amazing Lead Thinker (Senior Account Director) to join our team of Thinkers and Tinkers in Sydney. HOW YOU’LL CREATE MEASURED MAGIC What the hell is a Thinker? We’re glad you asked. A Thinker is a strategy-account-servicey type of person who often comes from a background of adland, or media agency, or brand strategy, or earned, or from the coffee shop down the road, but is really really smart. They ask a lot of questions and listen very carefully for the answers. They’re problem solvers and punctual, and know how to drive business results. They can manage processes and are business minded and they know how to get shit done. THE TASK AT HAND As a Lead Thinker, you are the key driver of a range of ambitious and innovative projects for our clients, focusing on brand-led ideas that push the boundaries of strategy and creativity, from insight to execution. You are an innovator and influencer, building strong relationships with existing and potential clients, driving business growth through sound strategic and creative solutions with strong financial acumen. An emerging leader with the agency, you are an invaluable team member mentoring and up-skilling more junior Thinkers and are not afraid to have an opinion. You'll have 3 big things to do: 1. BRAND AND CREATIVE LEADERSHIP You’ll lead your squad in the development of brand strategy and creative ideas that build our client’s brands and help change behaviours. You’ll work closely with your Core Tinker, having a key voice throughout the ideation process and ensuring everything is executed to the highest standard with cross functional collaboration at the core. You take ownership of driving the work and help up-skill more junior Thinkers whilst continuing to ask questions and building on your knowledge base. 2.PROJECT LEADERSHIP You have excellent project management skills and know our Measured Mapping process like the back of your hand. You are an experienced problem solver and know how to keep a job on track when things inevitably don’t go to plan. You proactively keep your squads, stakeholders and leadership updated and understand the importance of accurate and timely record keeping and financial forecasting and management. 3.INTEGRATION AND COLLABORATION You know your client’s business inside out and understand the challenges they face, the industry context and what makes them tick. You lead our squads to function as an extension of their team, and are tight with your Core Tinker. You know when to challenge and push the boundaries when required to help our clients find exceptional creative solutions that build their businesses and grow our relationship. The Institute of Measured Magic is our training and development program where we keep brains sticky with internal and external tailored training throughout the year. Whether you are a parent to little humans, the caregiver to your elder folk, or you simply do your best work over 4 days rather than 5 days- we are all ears and we are open to Full Time, Part Time or any ideas that lie in between. We kick off every week with Measured Mondays, our all agency, super-wip and finish every Friday at 4pm with Magic Hour, where we get creative and weird together. On top of your regular leave, everyone also gets a Mind Expansion Project per year, up to 5 consecutive days of extra leave per year for you to expand your mind and explore something new (that is something you wouldn’t normally do and something you’ve never done before), and then share back your experience with the agency.
