Job Introduction
DACBeachcroft has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Improvement Analyst to join our Business Improvement and Change team on a full-time, permanent, hybrid basis in our Bristol office.
Reporting into the Legal Business Change Manager, the Legal Improvement Analyst is a new role that will be at the forefront of driving initiatives that improve the delivery of legal services. The role involves close collaboration with lawyers, to help drive effective matter management practices as well as identifying ways to improve the delivery of our legal services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing support and deployment of cosine matter management alongside good matter management processes.
  • Working with the Legal Change Manager and the Practice Management Team to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Working with the Clusters to Identify and supporting process, policy and procedure improvements across legal service delivery
  • Interested in using process and digital to enhance the delivery of legal services
  • Using business analysis and business change skills to drive the adoption of new working practices

The Ideal Candidate

  • Legal knowledge with ability to understand legal process and communicate effectively with lawyers and clients
  • Understanding of law firm processes and lawyer-client relationships
  • Must be a team player, with a demonstrable commitment to the success of the department as a business
  • Knowledge of the matter management lifecycle including billing
  • A logical approach and desire to understand business process and the supporting applications
  • Numerate and attention to detail. Able to analyse and draw conclusions from financial data.
  • Solutions-oriented – looks for ways through problems and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build influential relationships at all levels within the firm
  • Self-starter with the desire to learn and develop
