Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

The appointees will: Report to the Clinical Leads at HH Be accountable to the Medical Director Pursue an interest in line with service needs and an opportunity to provide leadership in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Pursue an interest in line with service needs. Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetric patients. Care for pregnant women with complex medical problems.
Collaborate in MDT work in Acute Obstetrics and Maternal medicine. Provide clinical input and leadership in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Liaise with the management team to develop the infrastructure for the provision of the service. Accept personal responsibility for the clinical care of patients.
Attend regular departmental meetings and participate in department management and development of the service. Expected to cover both Obstetrics and Gynaecology emergencies during on calls. On Rota is 1 in 9
