Logistics Clerk - 2nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

• Hearthside is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Clerk who will have a positive impact on the operations team. As a Warehouse Clerk you will perform shipping duties for the plant, including scheduling, tagging products and maintaining an organized warehouse.

• Checking in drivers
• Operating forklifts
• Checking Purchase Orders
• Scheduling trucks for loading/unloading
• Preparing shipping documents and entering data on a daily basis
• Maintain records of all products and orders
• Verify Seals on trucks
• Maintain customer shipment files
• Maintain Open communications with Corporate Customer Service to maximize shipments and minimize problems
• Work with Plant General Manager and Supervisors to establish load out and shipment schedules and keep them informed on orders (distribute copies, etc.)
• Coordinate containers, export documents, export documents and shipping documents for export shipments
• Maintain good relationship with the trucking companies
• Perform other duties assigned
