What will you be doing?


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finance/Accounting analyst role
SAP and Tableau experience
Fluency in English (verbal and written)


The EU Logistics‘ Cost Analyst will be responsible for insuring the integrity of all financial transactions relating to freight, distribution and warehouse facilities for the CMS businesses. This role will ensure all logistics costs are accurately reflected and partner with the operations team to drive cost out initiatives (VCP/BCP/DMP). This includes closing activities, variance analysis, forecasting/reporting, PP&E and account reconciliations. In addition, this position should provide strategic guidance to Operation‘s for the V1/V3 cycle, financial decision-making, and controllership related issues.
This role requires cross-functional engagement, strong organizational, presentation and leadership skills, and an ability to understand and analyses complex accounting, finance, and operational processes.
Essential Responsibilities: Logistics closing activities, variance analysis and reporting Partner with the operating leaders to drive the development of annual operating plans and estimates (V1/V3 cycle) for the business Support strategic freight cost initiatives and financial decisions Calculate & analyze logistics metrics Partner with Penske and other logistics providers to drive data transparency and identify cost out opportunities Monitor and analyze logistics costs; partner with regional operational managers to drive VCP/BCP/DMP Prepare required accruals and clearing of FRIR accounts Conduct internal control/process reviews using knowledge of applicable statutory and IFRS reporting requirements; prepare/review account reconciliations Respond to client ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in a knowledgeable and flexible manner
