OVERVIEW

Tonal is looking for an experienced Logistics Project Manager to manage projects across the Logistics network. This role will lead projects from development through implementation and closure. This position requires the utilization of leadership, stakeholder management, initiative, and team-building skills along with project management, logistics, and operations expertise. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development of projects that support the organization’s main objectives and KPIs around Service, Safety, Cost, and Quality. You will be responsible for new capability building, systems enhancement and implementations, process redesign, and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work in close partnership with leaders across all of logistics, field operations, supply chain, engineering, operations, and other cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic initiatives, investments, and capabilities. You will demonstrate strong customer focus and communication skills by leading projects with a positive can-do attitude, roll-up your sleeves mentality, and willingness to learn and grow. You are someone who has a strong logistics background and above all else are resourceful and motivated to make an impact.
Your primary responsibility is to manage and deliver logistics projects that provide end-to-end customer experience and operations benefits for Tonal. This role will deliver projects that ensure customer satisfaction through active engagement with internal stakeholders and seeking the solution that best fits the needs of the business while delivering exceptional customer experience.

EXTRA CREDIT

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data driven project management and leading cross functional projects to deliver critical to customer characteristics on service, safety, cost, and quality.
  • Lead strategic logistics and customer order experience projects, involving multiple departments to execute projects effectively and efficiently, defining scope, budget, task owners, and schedule for projects
  • Track, monitor, and control project performance, including goals, expenses, and timelines, while performing frequent assessments and providing solutions to remain within defined control limits and project expectations
  • Conduct regular project status meetings involving site leadership team and communicate key project status
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, working in liaison with another Project or Program Manager, or functional lead
  • Develop and continually refine processes to ensure the effective and efficient execution
  • Support digital and technology projects which could include ERP or other system improvements, and the implementation/change management of new technology to drive efficiency, quality improvements, and/or cost savings
  • Prepare and conduct workshops to identify project ideas
  • Identify project risks and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Identify and manage relationship with project stakeholders, providing regular updates
  • Ensure project deliverables align with goals and KPIs, team and stakeholder objectives, and expectations
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies to achieve business goals
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Assist in the management and tracking of individual project resources needed throughout the development program
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the appropriate tools such as Gantt, study trackers, financial trackers, communication plan, risk log, action trackers, etc. for each project, ensure that they are maintained with the core teams
