JOB TITLE, SUMMARY & REPORTING LINE:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Logistics Supervisor is a highly organised and dynamic individual, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sampling team, supporting our Food, Environmental, Medtech and Pharmaceutical clients around the country. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the schedule and the team, to ensure efficient and timely sample collection, while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for samplers and drivers.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Adjust schedules in response to changing client needs, employee availability, and other operational factors.
  • Utilise appropriate software solutions to deliver an efficient and easy to manage scheduling process.
  • Monitor and analyze scheduling metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to optimize routes, reduce travel time, and improve overall efficiency
