Description:

Summary:
Provide assistant to internal and external customer including file set-up, fees, buyer and seller on-line requests and other curative matters that pertain to the long-term escrow file transactions. Responsible for the general reception and answering telephones for customers that utilize TitleOne’s Long Term Escrow services. The Long Term Escrow Specialist is acritical player that works with other team members to build a support line that ensures customer service and satisfactions for TitleOne.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides support to the Long Term Escrow Department by performing such duties as file review and set-up, scheduling, coordinating with other departments, file monitoring, customer contact and back-up in the absence of fellow Long Term team members.
Reconcile Long Term Trust Account (s) daily
Answer questions of buyers and sellers relating to details of transaction. Obtains signatures of principal parties on necessary documents on established Long Term Escrows.
Maintain large cash transaction records and report according to TitleOne’s Escrow Trust Accounting Policy.
Review and address positive pay items, including uploading to Positive Pay daily.
Prepare curative documents as needed for file set-up or close-out
Develops and executes a system for clerical duties and file coordination that adhere to company’s policies, procedures, appeal to the Team, and recommending best practices when necessary
Comply with TitleOne Corporation escrow trust accounting standards as outlined in the process and procedure manual.

  • Working knowledge of closing statements/disclosures, lender requirements and commitment for title insurance.
